Kaitlyn Rose Leventhal | Artist

Kaitlyn is an abstract impressionist painter in BC, Canada. She describes her work like this: “Through mixed-media painting, I explore and acknowledge the chaos and sufferings life in this world brings, while choosing to express the beauty, growth, stillness, and light that can always be found. Reflecting on this truth during the process of creating, I weave together abundant boldness, rawness, shifting colors, and distinct moments of pause.” I loved getting to take these portraits of Kaitlyn in Vancouver as part of a bigger project with Ekstasis Magazine.
